These professional style headphones with mic have leatherette padded ear pads and an adjustable electret microphone.  The cord has the two plugs that are compatible with Windows 7, XP, Vista and all Macs.  The cord is about 8 feet long.  So you can just plug them in and you are ready to go.  The microphone is sensitive and has a foam cover to stop wind noise.  You can use them for Skype, Yahoo Chat and Windows Live.
